14 day tour itinerary


Day 1 Join tour Lima. Day 2 Sillustani Funeral Towers Fly to Juliaca. Visit the Inca burial towers at Sillustani. Day 3 Lake Titicaca Travel to Puno located on the shore of the world’s highest navigable lake. Optional trip to the Indian communities on Uros and Taquile Islands. Days 4/5 Cusco Explore this colonial town on a walking tour and visit the colourful Pisac Market and Sacsayhuaman fortress. Days 6/10 Inca Trail Trek to the historic remains of Machu Picchu following the famous Inca Trail. Re-visit Machu Picchu on the fi nal day before returning to Cusco. Days 11/12 Rafting Enjoy two free days in Cusco. Choose from a range of optional activities including whitewater rafting or visits to Inca sites. Day 13 Lima Fly to the capital. Optional city tour. Day 14 Tour ends Lima.

Accommodation: 9 nights standard hotel, 3 nights basic camping and 1 night simple guesthouse. Meals: 13 breakfasts, 4 lunches and 3 dinners are included. Day 1 Join tour Cusco. Explore the former Inca capital. Day 2 Sacred Valley Visit the famous Pisac handicraft market. Days 3/7 Inca Trail Begin a four-day trek along old Inca highways to the ancient mystical site of Machu Picchu. Traverse the Andes, hike through cloud forest and cross ‘Dead Woman’s Pass’ (4200m). Explore the ruins of Llaqtapata, Sayacmarca and Winay Wayna along the way. Take a guided tour of Machu Picchu. Optional ascent of Wayna Picchu for a different perspective of the ruins. Relax in thermal baths at Aguas Calientes. Take the train back to Cusco. Day 8 Cusco Explore the bustling town or enjoy optional activities including whitewater rafting. Day 9 Tour ends Cusco.
