Essential Meeting Information 15 Tote Bags


All non-Exhibitor Meeting Registrants are entitled to a meeting tote bag. Bags are distributed in the registration area.


Sunday Social Event—Ticket Information


This year’s Sunday Social Event is just steps away, next door at the Renaissance Nashville Hotel ballroom. A full southern buffet supper will be offered, including beer and wine. Each Full Meeting Registration includes one social event ticket ~dinner and two drink tickets!. If you wish to purchase addi- tional Social Event tickets, please go to the registration desk at the Convention Center ~subject to availability!. Tickets are $65 each per adult.


Please note—no ticket purchases will be refunded. No Transportation is Required!


No shuttle buses this year! All events are within an easy walking distance fromall conference hotels.


Nashville Convention Center Information Nashville Visitor Information


Get visitor and tourist information on Nashville at the city’s permanent Visitor Center, across Broadway Ave. from the Nash- ville Convention Center. Get a great restaurant recommendation, find tickets for a tour, show, or museum, and get information on where to go for the best happy hour! The Center is staffed during the day, 7 days a week.


Business Center


Located on the second level of the Nashville Convention Center, the business center is self-service and provides copy, print, and internet services. For larger or poster printing, there is a FedEx Office ~formerly Kinko’s! store located just a few blocks away from the center. Go to www.fedex.com for locations. The Renaissance Nashville Hotel also provides business center services on their second level.

If you require special accommodation in order to participate fully in the meeting, please ask to speak with the meeting manager, or emailMeetingManager@microscopy.org. Requests made after July 1 or onsite at the meeting will be accommodated as much as possible.


Smoking Policy


M&M 2011 is a smoke-free meeting. If you wish to smoke, you will need to go to designated outdoor areas.


Food for Purchase Inexpensive, portable breakfast and snack items are available for purchase in the public spaces at the Convention Center ~7:30 AM–


10:30AM!. Lunch concessions are available for purchase inside the exhibit hall during lunch hours ~11:00 AM–2:00 PM!.
