TriQuint Shows Superior Quality With Samsung Award

TriQuint Semiconductor, a global provider of RF front-end products and foundry services has received Samsung’s Quarterly Quality Award. TriQuint supplies a variety of innovative radio frequency solutions to Samsung, such as power amplifiers and multi-function integrated modules, for use in Samsung’s wireless communication devices for GSM/GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA and HSPA+.
This award is part of Samsung’s ‘Quality First’ initiative meant to encourage excellence among its subcontractors and improve overall product quality. TriQuint was one of two suppliers recognized among Samsung’s 180 suppliers. Samsung Electronics leads the global market in high-tech electronics manufacturing and digital media and, according to Strategy Analytics was the No. 1 mobile phone provider in the U.S. in Q1 2010.

Lumiled’s LUXEON Is Rebel With A Cause Emitting Over 300 Lumens
The LUXEON Rebel ES can satisfy outdoor LED lighting adoption with new levels of light output and efficacy and shortens payback periods and lowers the total cost of ownership
Philips Lumileds has unveiled its latest development, the LUXEON Rebel ES .
At 1000 mA, the new LUXEON Rebel ES delivers
more than 300 lumens and efficacy of 100 lumens per watt. When optimizing for system efficiency, current can be lowered and efficacy can exceed 125 lumens per watt. Either way or in combination, applications can be more easily designed to meet emerging outdoor lighting standards system cost targets, and cost of ownership requirements.
LUXEON Rebel ES enables even more efficient and cost effective outdoor lighting solutions

LUXEON Rebel ES is optimized for outdoor applications, including streets, roadways, tunnels, and high- and low-bay lighting, with correlated color temperatures (CCTs) centered at 4100K and 5650K. The combination of light output levels, efficacy, and color temperature enable higher performance lighting systems that meet the needs of our customers and the end markets they serve.
Options include optimizing for light output, thereby reducing the number of emitters required and potentially reducing upfront costs; optimizing for efficacy which lowers operating expenses through energy savings; or designing for variable operation based on the amount of light required at a particular time of day, or at a particular location.
