I am looking forward to expanding our relationships worldwide and leveraging our key cellular engagements, while driving WiSpry into the rapid growth phase of its development and revenue generation.”

Yokhon CIGS Module Awarded TÜV NORD certification

Photovoltaic module YEC200, manufactured by Yohkon Energia S.A, has been awarded the TÜV NORD certification, being tested according to IEC 61646, IEC 61730-1 and IEC 61730-2.

The module photovoltaic YEC200 developed and manufactured by the Spanish company Yohkon Energia S.A has been recently awarded by the Certification Body for Product Safety of TÜV NORD CERT GmbH in cooperation with AT4 wireless, Technology center located in Malaga (Spain).

All tests were successfully achieved according to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) standards for both Thin-film terrestrial photovoltaic modules design qualification and type approval as well as Photovoltaic modules safety qualification, in order to provide safe electrical and mechanical operation during their expected lifetime.

Like its line of framed and frameless silicon based modules, the framed solar panel YEC200 is manufactured using a glass-backsheet design, whereby the 4mm cover glass is ensuring mechanical stability. Based on Global Solar (U.S.A) technology, this line of modules becomes an alternative to silicon based ones, especially when sunlight conditions are limited.

The YEC200 module is already powering several installations through Italy, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Portugal and Spain. Other important projects are ongoing in France and Belgium.

Yohkon Energia is a European manufacturer of photovoltaic modules. Founded in 2006 with a 100% Spanish private social capital, the firm specializes in designing, developing and manufacturing both thin-film CIGS and silicon based solar modules in a wide range of formats, including tailor-made solutions. Their business lines include: standard modules, custom made photovoltaic modules for BIPV solutions and Off-Grid solar systems.

Solar Metrology Unveils CIGS Composition & Thickness Measurement Tool

The insitu X-Ray Fluorescence (XRF) tool can measure thin film solar PV metal film stacks on flexible roll to roll substrates such as stainless steel, aluminum and polyimide or rigid substrates such as float glass.
