bottom edge,” says Burkard. “It is pressed and then welded in a different way than previous versions. Therefore, it comes with easy-to-clean, large radiuses, which makes it highly resistant against thermal stress. The rim around the plate stops liquids or dirt from running on the cooking surface,” he adds.
The installed bratt pan (a large, wide cooking
pan used for frying, braising and sautéing) and the griddle plates are equipped with Ambach Thermoblocks. These heating elements are embedded into aluminum and therefore ensure even heat distribution and full use of the cooking
zone, while enhancing durability and protecting the equipment for long-term use. The induction hob’s generator, which powers electromagnetic cooking, sits in the upper module above the countertop, freeing space below for storage.
