What are the biggest
challenges facing the media and entertainment industry? Today’s audiences expect live, multilingual content that’s seamless, accessible and available instantly, no matter the platform or location. Yet delivering this at scale is a major challenge. Traditional workfl ows built around interpreters and manual subtitling are costly, slow and nearly impossible to scale across regions. On top of that, regulations like the European Accessibility Act are increasing pressure on broadcasters and content providers to meet strict accessibility standards. Integrating new solutions into fragmented or legacy systems adds another layer of complexity for organisations trying to deliver inclusive, real-time experiences.
How is your company helping its customers address these challenges?
AI-Media meets these challenges with scalable, AI-powered solutions built for modern broadcast and streaming workfl ows. Leading the way is Lexi
Voice, our real-time voice translation technology that delivers live multilingual audio with natural- sounding, cloned speaker voices. With low latency and integration across SDI, IP and cloud environments, Lexi Voice removes the need for human interpreters and complex production chains. Our captioning encoders further streamline delivery across broadcast, streaming and in-venue environments, ensuring high- quality, compliant content reaches every audience.
What do you think are the main drivers in your market sector? Several key forces are reshaping the industry: growing audience demand for inclusive, multilingual content; rising regulatory pressure requiring real- time captioning and translation; and the need for greater operational effi ciency. AI is at the heart of this transformation. Real-time voice translation and automated subtitling allow organisations to localise content at scale, reach wider audiences, and simplify workfl ows, without
overhauling their tech stacks. Adding multi-language captions and voiceover makes content accessible to non-native speakers, unlocking new revenue streams through additional subscribers, sponsorships and monetisation opportunities across broadcast, FAST, streaming and VoD platforms.
What are the main areas of focus for your company during IBC2025?
At IBC2025, our focus is on how AI is transforming live multilingual production. We’ll highlight Lexi Voice in action, demonstrating its ability to deliver real-time translated audio with lifelike AI voices. We’ll also showcase the full Lexi suite – Lexi Subtitling, Lexi Translate and our encoder solutions – enabling seamless, accurate captioning and translation in more than 100 languages.
