CONSOLE WITH A HUMAN TOUCH AEQ

Making its IBC debut in Hall 8 is the Capitol IP Plus from Spanish sound specialist AEQ. The ultra-compact networked digital audio console for radio and television aims to provide an intuitive operator experience; it not only features colour screens on every channel, but also has an integrated 7in touchscreen. It also offers precise control of all console functions with a ‘touch-and-touch’ button, allowing for both physical button presses and touchscreen interaction.
The base confi guration has ten faders and 16-channel Dante connectivity, expandable to 32 channels, with a routing capacity of 96×96. The Capitol IP Plus is also highly customisable with programmable keys that allow hundreds of confi gurations to adapt to any workfl ow.
It features Bluetooth connectivity on the surface, three amplifi ed headphone circuits, four AES/EBU digital inputs and outputs, and up to 17 analogue inputs and outputs – including fi ve microphones – in a basic confi guration that can be expanded through Dante. 8.C55
