Expanding its support for SMPTE ST 2110-30 and AES67, Audinate is aiming to further strengthen Dante’s integration with broadcast networks at IBC2025. The company says that Dante is already widely used as the backbone for audio-over-IP in broadcast environments, and as video workfl ows continue to shift from SDI to IP – most notably with the adoption of ST 2110 – there is a growing need for convergence with established Dante audio networks. Will Waters, Principal Product Manager, Audinate, said:
“Interoperability is really important and broadcasters don’t want to be inhibited by signal fl ow. We’ve expanded our support for AES67 and ST 2110-30 and integrated it into Dante without requiring extra orchestration and management. Fundamentally, this development is about removing barriers and delivering more fl exibility to our end users.”

Studio Network Solutions (SNS) is unveiling
Outpost.cloud, an entirely new review and approval product that aims to facilitate creative teams in sharing media, gathering feedback and keeping projects moving forward, from anywhere.
Outpost allows users to share video review links with any recipient via email directly from ShareBrowser MAM, the media asset manager included with Evo. Recipients can then view the content on any device, leave timecode-specifi c and ranged comments and download shared fi les.
In addition, content can be annotated with on-screen markups and drawings, fully reviewed and progress tracked with email notifi cations.
Melanie Ciotti, Director of Marketing, SNS, remarked: “Our brand-new product Outpost is something that our customers have been asking for and now we’re delivering. We’re also announcing a new archive and restore feature natively in ShareBrowser as well as launching the SNS training academy which is now open for pre-registration. “Outpost is a huge

On the back of a strategic collaboration that delivered a series of pioneering 5G Broadcast network trials in Poland, transmission specialist Syes is at IBC to showcase the standalone system helping to shape the future of broadcasting. Working with technology partners Bcast and Nakolos, Syes says the alliance marks a milestone in broadcasting technologies, proving that 5G Broadcast technology is not only a powerful tool for media distribution but also for public safety and emergency communications.
Gianluca Baccalini, Sales and Marketing Director, Syes, said: “There is real need from both private and public broadcasters to assess the technical features and potential advantages of 5G Broadcast. We have invested in this technology since the start; Syes invests in every worldwide modulation scheme in the world, and therefore it was mandatory for us to invest in this trial.” In addition to enabling simulcast scenarios, 5G Broadcast can also deliver public disaster and crisis warning, CDN offl oading for cost savings, low latency delivery of live events and greater resilience via satellite.
