Using its tried and tested design of two dense, tinned CU braided shields for 100% coverage and shielding against external interferences, Sommer Cable’s SC- Vector Plus 0.8L/3.7DZ UHD video cable is robust enough for outdoor use and under adverse conditions, such as for large mobile transmissions. With a compact interior made of 3.7mm low- attenuation skin foam PE insulation and 0.70mm inner conductor with 19 0.16mm individual strands, the cable is optimised to a small outer diameter of 6.1mm in a notch-resistant, cold-fl exible, heat- and UV-resistant PUR sheath.
Sommer says this delivers a long service life, without the use of PVC to prevent toxic gases in the event of fi re, and without plasticisers for sustainable material use.
