LIGHTBANKS FOR TUBE LINE UNVEILED Chimera

Chimera’s new TubePro Lightbanks are designed to shape and diffuse the light of a variety of different tube lights, including: the Astera Titan; Quasar Science; Nanlite Pavo; Aputure; and other 2ft (60cm), 3ft (90cm) and 4ft (1.2m) LED tubes.
They come with tuneable louvres and barndoors for control over the spill and direction of the light, and are available in three kits to fi t user’s needs: Basic, Standard and Pro. All are made from Chimera’s
proprietary textiles for extra longevity. A TubePro Standard Kit includes a Lightbank body, four or eight louvres (four for the smallest version), instruction sheet and storage sack. The Pro Kit includes either eight louvres and two barndoors (for the small unit) or 16 louvres and four barndoors (for the two larger units), plus 1/2 gridless front screen.
Also new is the Octaplus speed ring for the Nanlux Evoke 1200 1.2kW LED fi xture, which works to fi t classic four-pole Video Pro Lightbanks and Octaplus Lightbanks to the Evoke. 12.H57
CLOUD-BASED LIBRARY LAUNCH FOR DIGITAL CINEMA DATA Mnemonica

Italian SaaS production asset management platform Mnemonica is launching a cloud- based fi lm masters library service dedicated to all rights owners and industry stakeholders, enabling them “to keep precious works always present for business and cultural outreach opportunities”.

The library is the third component of the company’s offering, alongside virtual screening rooms and data exchange boxes. Mnemonica’s aim is to provide a “long-term memory for the digital cinema living ecosystem, from prep to eternity”. As the company points out, even digital data can be lost forever, and this is true for cinema as well. 5.B14

The new 4G/5G option enables the AtlasNG to conduct comprehensive scans across the entire FR1 band, identifying and categorising all available mobile channels, and listing and displaying them according to their mobile technology and channel access method (TDMA or FDMA), as well as
distinguishing between upstream and downstream channels. AtlasNG provides complete cell information as well as advanced channel measurements such as RSRP, RSRQ, SINR and SRXLEV. Measurements while registered into the network with an operator’s SIM card are also possible, while a double SIM slot reduces the number of card insertion and extraction operations. 8.F49
