BY DAVID FOX

Aputure’s new Infi nimats are infl atable RGBWW LED mat lights that offer full-colour, pixel controllable, enhanced light output combined with fi ne-tuned dimming capabilities. They are weather-proof (IP65) and come in multiple sizes (initially 1x2, 1x4, 2x4, 4x4, 8x8 and 20x20 with more planned), using rental-grade construction. They are quick to set up and are suitable for productions ranging from product shots to grand exterior scenes and everything in between. Every Infi nimat includes an

infl atable airbag (they can be used fl at, as a mat – the airbags

provide a rigid shape), diffusion panel and a light control grid. They can be mounted to their frames and brackets, to be draped or suspended. Both the 400W and 1600W control boxes can power multiple mats, which can be adjusted individually or as a matching whole. For lighting control, Aputure also has the new Sidus ecosystem which includes the Sidus One transceiver and the Sidus Link Pro wireless lighting control app. Both are designed for optimal compatibility, supported by a streamlined UI. Aputure claims the Sidus ecosystem offers “gaffer-friendly icon-driven displays that are understood with a glance, making synchronous cueing of DMX-controlled fi xtures fast and effi cient”. 11.B22

Neutrik Group BY KEVIN EMMOTT

For shots that matter: A range of Aputure’s Infi nimats on set

Making their IBC debut, Neutrik’s NA-2 DLINE series of ultra-compact line I/O-to-Dante/ Dante-to-line I/O interface boxes are end-of-network devices providing breakout for analogue and Dante signal paths in the fi eld. With a miniature form factor and rubber encased metal housing, NA-2 DLINE series devices are designed to withstand the more extreme demands of live sound and media production environments, boasting rigorous adherence to standards which extend to RoHS/REACH compliance; high levels of fl ame retardancy; and enhanced ESD protection.

Lockable chassis connectors are also featured for both line audio and network connections. The series comprises three models. The NA-2O-DLINE and NA-2I-DLINE are respectively a Dante to two-channel line output and two-channel line input to Dante interface. The NA-2I20-DLINE is a simultaneous Dante to two- channel line output and two- channel line input to Dante device, enabling it to feed analogue audio signals into a Dante network while at the same time receiving a mix from another Dante source. Dante streams are supported at 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96kHz sample rates, at 16-, 24- and 32- bit resolution, over 100 Base-TX (PoE support) Ethernet. 8.C73
