Seamless splicing on the tx Darwin modular cloud-native platform Techex BY KIRSTY HAZLEWOOD The SymplyPro XTL boosts Symply’s comprehensive LTO product range

Microservices-based platform tx Darwin from Techex has over 40 modules that can be assembled to deliver features for live media processing. It’s already used in production at several large media organisations. Transport stream splicing allows platforms to seamlessly failover between redundant live processing infrastructure, enabling upgrades and maintenance to be performed regularly and during working hours.

SCTE-35 can be generated

and converted between multiple SCTE-35 formats and implementations allowing effi cient mezzanine syndication. The highly precise tx Darwin multiplexer can regenerate transport streams to provide consistent interoperability between out of spec feeds and less tolerant infrastructure. Techex says these key features

are part of a growing set of modules and capabilities built specifi cally for companies that “demand the highest precision functionality delivered in an effi cient and secure cloud-native solution”. 3.B44
