challenges facing the media and entertainment industry? The industry is evolving rapidly, facing pressure to reduce costs, meet demand for diversifi ed content and reinvent business models due to market consolidation. The adoption of next-generation technologies such as AI presents both opportunities and challenges, while at the same time transformative measures like cloud technology and remote production have not been utilised fully yet.

What do you think are the main drivers in your market sector? We see the adoption and integration of AI technologies as one main driver. Although still in its early stages, the technology already offers measurable benefi ts such as creating new revenue streams, deepening customer relationships, empowering employees and automating manual processes. However, many companies are still unsure how to apply AI in practice. To address this, Qvest is showcasing tangible AI use cases at IBC on how to accelerate marketing asset creation or organise video content effi ciently.
What are the main areas of focus for your company during IBC2024?
In addition to our applied AI use cases, we are focusing on our new composable OTT approach, which combines modularity, scalability and technology openness to prevent vendor lock-ins. We will also present TVXRAY, our updated live sports broadcasting solution featuring AI-generated highlight reels. Visitors can engage with specialists for foresight and innovation, digital media supply chain, data and analytics, digital product development and more on how to future-proof position your business and make it technologically mature for the next decade.
