Based on SMPTE ST 2022-7, Intinor is introducing a workfl ow that aims to enhance reliability in video contribution through redundant SRT streaming. According to the Swedish company, this robust redundancy strategy ensures uninterrupted broadcasts over public internet networks by switching between multiple internet paths. The system uses the SMPTE open standard for compatibility with different SRT encoders and routers. It also supports open standard RTP and RTP over SRT, providing redundancy with both satellite and internet paths. In addition, Intinor
is introducing a HEVC/H.265 codec for its Direkt link and Direkt router. It says this new codec implementation allows for fl exible parameter adjustments, balancing higher quality with bitrate effi ciency. Another highlight is Intinor Direkt Management (IDM), a web-based user interface that aims to simplify workfl ow setup and management. Intinor is also expanding its
hardware capabilities with the Direkt link rack 4X, a compact 1U solution now supporting up to eight SDI inputs and featuring software encoders. A key addition is the support for 4K resolution. 5.F45
