Media Monitoring System (MMS), which aims to help broadcasters unlock digital revenue, is being showcased by speech processing technology specialist VoiceInteraction. The company is proposing MMS could populate platforms with content, repurposing newscasts into bite-sized clips.
MMS is used to automate transcription and metadata extraction. The newscasts are

processed through automatic speech recognition, generating a searchable textual record. AI algorithms can then create an interconnected network of metadata, as the technology allows for topic and keyword detection, speaker ID and summarisation of lengthy news segments. The system analyses a newscast and detects the beginning and end of each news story, clipping individual clips. Metadata, such as title, summary and keywords, is then added to these individual stories. 5.F27

In the new Dante AVN-DIO10- 12G embedder and de-embedder, UK manufacturer Sonifex is unveiling its first 12G-enabled product. A successor to the AVN-DIO10 3G/HD/SD-SDI, the new unit handles the complete spectrum of SDI standards from SD-SDI to 12G-SDI. The device allows for simultaneous embedding and de-embedding of up to 64 channels, making it a plug-and- play solution for connecting legacy, 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD- SDI equipment to the Dante AoIP network. The unit manages any SDI feed, de-embedding

up to 64 audio channels, and mapping them to channels 1-64 on the Dante network via Dante Controller. At the same time, it can re-embed up to 64 input channels from the Dante network back onto the SDI output.
