What are the main areas of focus for your company during IBC2024?

IBC is always a great opportunity for us to meet with potential new customers. It’s also a chance for us to show our existing customers our new products and get practical feedback from them, which goes directly into our development labs. This year we’re

focused on highlighting our three main product groups: the Orion monitoring suite for streaming; Baton, Baton+ and Baton Captions for fi le-based QC; and Vega for in-depth analysis tools. We’re particularly excited to show how our Baton Captions solution harnesses the power of machine learning, automatic speech recognition and NLP to signifi cantly reduce the need for human intervention while providing accurate captioning enhanced with QC checks. We’re also unveiling major updates to our fl agship content monitoring product suite Orion, including comprehensive support for the IPv6 protocol and a smart framework for effi cient root-cause analysis, ensuring uninterrupted streaming quality.

What sets your company apart as a technology leader? Interra Systems has been at the forefront of media analysis and quality control for over 25 years, closely working with many of the largest media companies to improve media operations for better quality

Besides, our customer support sets us apart in the industry, providing a level of service that distinguishes us from the competition. 7.C11

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY BATTERY IS SALT OF THE EARTH Core SWX BY DAVID FOX

The new MoXIE Solo is claimed to be the fi rst generator-style battery system to offer a sodium-ion battery, which has the benefi t over sodium nickel chloride of being able to work instantly at lower temperatures (down to -40°C). Both salt-based technologies are more environmentally friendly than lithium-ion, although MoXIE can also be fi tted with a 3kWh Li cell – the sodium-ion cell is 2kWh. MoXIE Solo can deliver 3.6kW AC output with simultaneous DC

Ready salted: MoXIE Solo can use sodium-ion or lithium-ion batteries

outputs and is specifi cally designed for fi lm and video production. The cells can be charged internally, or

swapped out for other cells, to keep the production going. It offers pure sine wave power

output delivering a smooth, consistent current, preventing the risk of interference, hum or power fl uctuations. It offers multiple DC outputs (15v, 28v and 48v), each capable of handling up to 16A each. There are also two power tap 14v outputs, along with USB-C PD and USB-A ports, plus two expansion ports, to connect additional MoXIE cell packs directly to the unit, expanding its capacity (up to 9kWh).

The system is small enough to

fi t in a car, weighing about 55kg, including a 28kg battery, and comes with wheels for easy transport. 12.C55
