Ingleby Barwick Leisure Centre
is ready IB Leisure, the new £13million leisure centre in Ingleby Barwick is complete and ready to open mid-August.
The centre has a modern and spacious gym, two fitness class studios and a dedicated group cycling studio, as well as two swimming pools, a soft play area and a library.
The gym will house the latest range of fitness equipment and offer a state-of- the-art training area. There will also be an extensive fitness class programme with classes suitable for beginners to advanced trainers, while the two pools will offer a variety of swimming sessions including an extensive learn to swim programme and aqua classes.
A new library will replace the branch that used to be at All Saints Secondary School. The new library will have a dedicated children’s area, improved ICT facilities and self-service kiosks as well as a wide range of new books for every taste and age group.

Work continues at The Sycamores
The Sycamores, a new housing development in central Stockton, is taking shape.
Work on the 143 new homes was temporarily suspended because of the Coronavirus pandemic but teams are now back on site working to strict social distancing guidelines.
Once complete the estate will feature a range of competitively priced two, three and four bedroom high quality houses and two bedroom bungalows.
Also included within the development will be a range of affordable homes for rent provided by the Thirteen Housing Group.
