Treetops Nursery


Treetops Nursery at Thornaby Pavilion has also been rewarded with its second ‘Outstanding’ rating with a glowing review from Ofsted for the childcare they provide for 2-4 year olds.


The report stated, “Children show they feel special, safe, valued and supported by staff in the nursery. Teaching is focused on helping children make the best possible progress while they are engrossed in enjoyable, stimulating activities.”


Facility Manager of Thornaby Pavilion, Dave Seller, explained “We are delighted to receive this recognition from Ofsted for the second time in a row. It is testament to the hard work of our childcare team who create a welcoming, friendly and conducive learning environment for all of our children.”


Mandale Mill Primary School’s hard work shone through as the school moved from ‘Requires Improvement’ to a ‘Good’ rating across all areas in their latest inspection.


The report said that: “Pupils are proud of their school. They are happy and friendly. Pupils are very welcoming and go out of their way to look after each other. Behaviour is good. Pupils are clear that bullying is unacceptable. Any bullying is rare and is taken very seriously. Pupils’ emotional health and well-being are important to staff. Pupils say they feel safe. They say that kind, friendly staff look after them well.”


Frederick Nattrass Primary Academy in Norton has maintained its 'Good' rating with inspectors noting: “This is a happy, inclusive school. Pupils get big smiles from kind, friendly staff all day long. Pupils know staff listen to them and value their opinions.”
