Good Luck Angela!
A Stockton-on- Tees librarian is in the running for
a national award. You may recognise Children’s Librarian, Angela Foster, from the March edition of Stockton-on-Tees News when she featured in ‘Day in the Life’.
Now she has been shortlisted for the Youth Libraries Group Award which recognises the innovation and dedication of staff working with children and young people in libraries across the country.
The winner will be announced at the YLG Conference in November.

Keeping the
Borough safe The lockdown is easing but we are still doing all we can to reduce the risk of Coronavirus spreading in our communities and stopping the spread if there
is a local outbreak. The Council is working with other organisations and our local communities to limit the spread of COVID-19 and help people in our Borough to live their lives as normally as possible.
And there are a few things you can do to help: • Wash your hands well and often
• If you cough or sneeze, do so into a tissue or the elbow of your sleeve and wash your hands
• Follow social distancing guidelines - stay two metres away from anyone who isn’t in your household, or if this isn’t
possible stay more than one metre away and avoid directly facing each other and wear a face covering
• If you have symptoms, stay at home and arrange a test. Contact
nhs.uk/coronavirus or call 119
• If NHS Test and Trace call you, it is important to tell them who you have been in close contact with so we can stop
further spread of the disease
• If you are asked to ‘self-isolate’ stay at home for 7 days if you have COVID-19, or for 14 days if you have been in
contact with someone with COVID-19. Stay in your home or garden and do not go out for exercise or to the shops
The COVID Community Support Team Support provide help for people who are self-isolating, 9am-2pm, Monday-Friday. All you need to do is email CovidCommunitySupport@
catalyststockton.org or call 01642 524500.
