Here we usually bring you our regular update on the consultations being carried out by the Council.
There are no consultations running at the moment but we will be restarting our consultation programme in the near future.
Last year the Council carried out a Residents’ Survey across Stockton-on-Tees to find out what residents think about Council services, how they think they could be shaped to improve the Borough, and help the Council continue to provide value for money.
In the coming months we will be carrying out a short follow-up to the residents survey to find out whether your views and priorities have changed since the COVID-19 pandemic. We use the information you provide us with to help inform the services we provide so your views are very important to us.
Residents aged 16 or above are being randomly selected to take part in the optional door-to-door survey. The survey will end in December.

Please take a couple of minutes to check the information is correct. Instructions explaining how you can update your details will be included in the letter.
You must be on the Electoral Register to to vote in next May’s elections for the Tees Valley Mayor and Cleveland Police and Crime Commissioner.
If you aren’t registered to vote, it will take just a few minutes to register online at
www.gov.uk/register-to-vote.
Anyone on the Electoral Register can apply to vote by post. Everyone who would normally vote at a polling station will receive a postal vote application form to consider.

Council meetings go virtual
In line with Government guidance, all Council meetings
are now taking place virtually. It means that despite Coronavirus restrictions meaning large groups of people shouldn’t come together, public meetings can still go ahead.
If you would like to attend a virtual meeting you can do so by emailing your name and address to democraticservices@
stockton.gov.uk at least 48 hours before it is due to take place.
The meeting will be held on the video-calling programme, Microsoft Teams (you do not need to download any software to access it). 15 minutes before the meeting start time you will be sent joining instructions including a code.
