SIRF20 at Home Community Carnival

The popular SIRF community carnival can’t take place in Stockton this year but that doesn’t mean you have to miss out. There are a series of fun carnival inspired workshops for you to take part in at home. And if you send in pictures and films of your creations and contributions you could feature in the great big virtual community carnival parade which will be broadcast at www.sirf.co.uk on Saturday 1 August at 12pm. Turn to page 6 and 7 to find out more or visit www.sirf.co.uk Remember to share your creations on social media #SIRFATHOME

Go on a Minibeast Hunt

No matter the weather, a minibeast hunt is fun for the whole family. If it’s sunny you might see some butterflies or bees. If it’s raining, just pop on those wellies and go hunting for worms and beetles.

Why not turn it into a game with our minibeast dice? Take it in turns to roll the dice and see which minibeast you need to find.

Download a dice from www.prestonparkmuseum.co.uk/ museum-at-home
