New Casino Licence Bid in Bermuda
Hotelco has now submitted a formal application to the Bermuda Gaming Commission for a casino licence at Bermuda’s St Regis hotel.
Hotelco aims is to launch a 5,500 sq. ft. gaming floor with a variety of options for guests looking to roll the dice, in addition to a salon privé with two private tables.

UK - Changes due to BetIndex collapse The collapse of BetIndex has promoted a review of financial services and gambling by the UK Gambling Commission, which is changing the way it regulates digital gambling products. Gambling Commission CEO, Andrew Rhodes, said: “The review provides a number of helpful recommendations for how both regulators can work better together and for how our regulatory approach deals with novel products.”
Holland - Kindred defies customer block Kindred Group is refusing to block access of its online gambling products to Dutch players. The Unibet operator is currently subject to a ‘cooling off’ period in Holland and was not included in the first tranche of operators to receive a licence. And while Entain and Betsson have pulled out of the market, Kindred is continuing its operational activities.
France - ANJ to launch Euros ad consultation The French National Games Authority (ANJ) is launching a wide public consultation on questionable practices observed in advertising during the Football Euro in June and July. “Problems have been observed in terms of advertising pressure on the part of sports betting operators, underlines the regulator. These are likely to question the regulatory model that has been in place for 10 years. This is why the ANJ is launching a broad public consultation on the advertising practices of gambling operators."
Romania - Evoplay and Publicwin agreement Evoplay has secured a strategic partnership with Romanian operator Publicwin in a move that secures its standing in European regulated markets. The agreement will see Evoplay bring 50 of its slot titles and more than 10 instant games to the Romanian market, including the provider’s most popular proprietary releases, such as Elven Princesses, Fruit Super Nova and Hot Triple Sevens.

Hotelco, the company behind the St Regis hotel development in St George, Bermuda, has now submitted a formal application to the Bermuda Gaming Commission to bring a full casino licence to the hotel during the island’s summer months.
Te aim is to launch a 5,500 sq. ft. gaming floor with a variety of options for guests looking to roll the dice, in addition to a salon privé with two private tables.
Bermuda’s Premier, David Burt, said: “I can advise that the commission held a meeting on August 24, at which the application for a casino licence was considered. It’s my hope, dream and expectation that we will have a casino opening before the end of the year.”
Despite his support for the project, Burt said he could not confirm any date or make promises yet as the final decision relies upon the commission. Despite this, he remained confident in the casino launching.
Situated in the historic Town of St. George’s, an UNESCO World Heritage site, and nestled among the soft sands and turquoise water of St.
