At the Merkur Industry Summit, adp Gauselmann presented a mix of products, politics and partying over an area measuring 8,300sq.m that covered the entire playing field of the Merkur Spiel-Arena. Te highlight of the event was the company’s latest multigamer: ZONIC.
Te year’s most important sales event for adp Gauselmann took place September 3-4 amid strict compliance with COVID rules whereby all of the 1,300 guests in attendance at the MERKUR SPIEL- ARENA had either been vaccinated against, recovered from or tested for the virus.
Numerous customers of the Gauselmann subsidiary were welcomed by Jürgen Stühmeyer, MERKUR Management Board member with responsibility for sales, who made the opening speech: “We feel that it is a great honour and a huge compliment that you are our guests in such extraordinary times.” Te head of sales welcomed not only German business partners but also visitors from the important distribution markets of the Netherlands and Spain. “I would also particularly like to welcome our guest of honour: the guarantor of success Paul Gauselmann.”

Paul Gauselmann did not go away empty-handed. Freddy Fischer gave him a belated birthday gift of a piece of a meteorite from the planet Mercury. Te managing director of the Gauselmann portfolio company msp aligned the planet with the company MERKUR.
Te latest product innovation from the Gauselmann Group is the new ZONIC generation of cabinets, which was unveiled at the industry summit. Befitting the magical multigamer, the ‘Ehrlich Brothers’ duo act used magic to teleport the ZONIC onto the stage at the end of a magic show. Te multigamer captivates with two 32-inch screens, which due to their arrangement and the smooth transition to a particularly deep console ensure a great gaming experience not only in terms of the games and features included, but also ergonomically.
Te design highlight of the ZONIC is that its look can be easily changed using six different frames. adp Gauselmann demonstrated the merits of the individual frames in a fashion show in which models in thematically coordinated, elaborate costumes floated across the catwalk.
