New York - JCM partners with del Lago Resort JCM Global has installed its GEN5 Thermal Printer on all 1,752 slot machines at del Lago Resort & Casino in Waterloo, N.Y. The installation was an upgrade of JCM’s existing GEN2U printers and gives del Lago the power to enhance the guest experience with GEN5’s capabilities.


When del Lago first opened in 2017, JCM installed its iVIZION bill validators and ICB Intelligent Cash Box System along with the GEN2U printers. This technology upgrade brings the property to the latest generation of TITO thermal printers. The combination of the iVIZION bill validator and GEN5 printer also prepares the property for JCM’s FUZION system and the future of system-managed peripherals.

US - Catena acquires North America assets Catena Media has further strengthened its North American operations by acquiring online sports betting and casino affiliation assets from i15 Media.


The assets comprise more than 100 websites and domains that focus on states starting their first full American football season (Michigansharp.com), large upcoming states (such as NYSportsDay.com), and nationally ranking sites like bonus.com and gamblingonline.com. The total purchase price is US45m, of which US$12.5m will be paid with 2,207,357 new Catena Media shares.

Blackstone has sold separately the property and operations assests of Te Cosmopolitan in Vegas for US$5.65bn and US$1.625bn.


Investment management company, Blackstone, has agreed to sell The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas to Stonepeak Partners for US$5.65bn. Deutsche Bank sold the loss making resort to Blackstone in 2014 for US$1.73bn.


Under the terms of the acquisition agreement, MGM Resorts International plans to purchase The Cosmopolitan’s operating assets as well as sign a long-term net lease agreement between Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust, Stonepeak Partners and Cherng Family Trust.


MGM Resorts has agreed a purchase price of US$1.625bn for the operations business. Following the close of the transaction, MGM Resorts will enter into a 30-year lease agreement, with three 10-year renewal options, with a partnership among Stonepeak Partners, Cherng Family Trust and Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust (BREIT), which will acquire The Cosmopolitan's real estate assets. MGM Resorts will pay an initial annual rent of $200m, escalating annually at two per cent for the first 15 years and the greater of two per cent or the CPI increase thereafter.

US DWG signs exclusive North America SG deal


Scientific Games has enhanced its OpenGaming portfolio in North America by signing an exclusive content deal with Design Works Gaming (DWG).


Te three-year agreement will see Arizona-based DWG roll out its wide range of original, engaging online casino titles across the United States and Canada through the OpenGaming platform, providing Scientific Games’ customers with a unique, diverse content selection and opportunities for bespoke game development.


Scientific Games will initially make DWG’s content available in New Jersey, before launching in Michigan and Pennsylvania as well as other States that open up for online gaming.
