Panel speakers included Oleksandr Usyk, undisputed heavyweight champion and co-founder of Ready to Fight, Yevhen Krazhan, CSO at GR8 Tech, Kyrylo Korobka, Exec Director at Ready To Fight, and was moderated by TV presenter Kirsty Gallacher.

FOUNDATIONS THAT WITHSTAND THE FIGHT

When asked what goes through his mind in the final moments before a fight, Oleksandr Usyk’s answer wasn’t about adrenaline or fear—it was about calm. Before walking out at Wembley to defend his undisputed title against Daniel Dubois in front of over 90,000 people, Usyk explained that his mind becomes still and focused. Te reason is preparation.

“When I walk to the ring, I pray to God, ask if I deserve the victory, and think about my family, my country, and the fight ahead. Of course, doubts come; if my opponent is better, if I can beat him, but my trust in God keeps me focused. And it’s very important to have an incredible team around you, because they help you in everything you do. Tat trust matters, not just in the ring, but in life,” Usyk said.

For Ready to Fight Executive Director Kyrylo Korobka, that calm is possible only because of discipline and systems built long before fight night. “When you see Oleksandr Usyk enter the ring, that’s just the final moment of months of preparation,” he explained. Training

Tat philosophy resonated immediately with Yevhen Krazhan of GR8 Tech, who pointed out that the same logic applies in iGaming. “Te key point, just like with Oleksandr’s team, is peak performance. It’s not only about the first round; it’s about still being there in the 12th. Tat’s why you prepare, why you do all the work behind the scenes— because in the end, that’s what makes it possible to win.”

Like Ready to Fight, GR8 Tech’s approach is based on questioning everything: digging deep to uncover operators’ real pain points rather than settling for surface-level assumptions. “What lies at the foundation of our Platform for Champions is a systematic, meticulous approach,” Krazhan said. “Te shared vision across our team is what pushes boundaries and takes our clients as far as their ambitions will go.”

NO PLAN SURVIVES THE FIRST PUNCH

No matter how carefully you prepare, both business and sport are unpredictable. As Kirsty Gallacher noted, Murphy’s Law is never far

camps are organised with precision, every team member knows their role, and the work is relentless—three sessions a day for three months. Beyond the gym, Ready to Fight supports with marketing, ticketing, and a dedicated analytics team that studies every detail of Usyk and his opponents to craft the right strategy.
