Tax revenue from gaming reached a total of CZK 18.6bn in
2023, which is CZK 1.6bn more than in the previous year (CZK 17.0 billion). While in the years 2018-2020, the revenue from gambling tax hovered around CZK 10bn annually, there has been an increase in the last two years for both technical games (CZK 11.6bn in 2023) and other games (CZK 7.0bn).
