Te SGZ will engage with operators who are focused on long-term sustainability, something which goes way beyond simply meeting the regulatory mandate. Te overarching objective is to be at the vanguard of initiatives to help develop healthy play right from the outset.
While not yet standard across the whole of the industry, this more holistic approach underpins the safer gambling dynamic. Its goal is to create a more sustainable business in which the vast majority of players can continue to enjoy their gambling entertainment experience but where the small proportion who are at risk of developing problems are pro-actively identified and assisted by operators.
What networking opportunities will sit alongside this year's event?
Te fact that iGB L!VE is such an enjoyable event is due in no small part to the networking programme which sits at its core. We like to think that iGB L!VE's networking events are more than just gatherings—they are immersive experiences that inspire growth, innovation, and collaboration in a relaxed setting.
Events include Welcome Drinks (16 July), 5km morning Run Club (18 July) Official Networking Drinks and Party (18th July), Closing Party running through to the early hours (18 July) and a leisurely cruise along the iconic Amsterdam Canals (19 July).
On the show floor we also have iGB INTRODUCING, the facilitated networking initiative which connects audiences and ASCEND which promotes and celebrates diversity, equity and inclusion.
How do you reflect on iGB L!VE's stint at the RAI Amsterdam?
Te RAI have been amazing partners and to a large extent our success is their success. We have loved staging the show in Amsterdam and look forward to distilling the same spirit and energy for when we relocate to London. We will be using July’s edition of iGB L!VE to reflect and celebrate our time in Amsterdam and to also say a huge thanks to the RAI team.
What opportunities does London bring to the table that Amsterdam doesn't?
We should never forget that London is the birthplace of, and remains the home of igaming. Over 50 of the most influential companies in igaming base themselves in London and with 12,000+ igaming professionals calling London home, it remains an industry destination for business networking, socialising, and a place where the industry meets to shape the future. With the ICE and iGB Affiliate move to
P78 WIRE / PULSE / INSIGHT / REPORTS
Barcelona taking place in January 2025, iGB L!VE has an amazing opportunity to relocate the home of igaming right to the heart of the igaming industry. iGB L!VE has already experienced three years of fantastic exponential growth and the move to London puts us on an even more impressive trajectory.
How is the planning going for iGB L!VE at the ExCeL in 2025?
Our preparations for the migration of iGB L!VE to London comprises a roadmap of activities which we are developing in partnership with the senior team at ExCeL London. Our latest meeting featured myself, Clarion Gaming Managing Director Stuart Hunter, Head of Operations Richard Logan and Head of Marketing Jody Frost with the senior team from ExCeL led by the venue’s Chief Commercial Officer Simon Mills.
Te roadmap is being created in order to anticipate industry needs, address pain points and to secure a frictionless relocation. ExCeL London has established a fantastic track record of helping events to fulfil their potential, and all of the building blocks are in place for iGB L!VE to do exactly that.
The ExCeL has the capacity to enable events to scale, but such a vast venue can also make smaller scale events feel small. What measures are being put in place to ensure iGB L!VE retains a sense of intimacy?
iGB L!VE will be moving to the Custom House entrance of ExCeL London and will retain its own sense of individuality and community. As always we will be adopting a customer-first approach which means reflecting the profile of the audiences that we serve in particular the needs of iGB L!VE’s affiliate customers whose business partnerships are trust-based.
Whilst iGB L!VE is growing at an exponential rate and we have established some ambitious growth targets, they will be achieved over the mid-term. What ExCeL enables us to do is to scale the show and for it to grow at its own pace.
What's the long-term growth plan for iGB L!VE?
We have set-out an ambitious development and growth plan which will be fuelled by the brand’s relocation to London. Our vision is to take the show to a whole new level as the industry continues to scale. By 2028 we have targeted over 30,000 visitors, and 550+ exhibitors and sponsors.
We are working in partnership with an industry Advisory Board, made up of the most influential and pioneering stakeholders, in order to realise the show’s vision and growth targets. Our customers want that growth and as organisers we will be driven by the needs of the industry.
