CASINOS - Tere are nine casinos in the province – seven First Nation casinos plus Casino Regina and Moose Jaw which are operated by Sask Gaming.
Casino Regina opened in 1996 and is located in the old Union Train Station while Casino Moose Jaw opened in 2002 downtown and is attached the famous Temple Gardens Mineral Spa. Te two operate more than 800 slots between them plus table games and touch bet terminals.
Casino Regina has been renovated over the last few years with the completion of a Show Lounge and updated gaming floor. Renovations to Moose Jaw began this year. Sask Gaming total revenues for 2022/23 was $116.3 and net income was $21.3m.

Gold Horse Casino in Lloydminster has 253 slots and 10 table games.
Gold Eagle Casino in North Battleford has 308 slots and three tables.
Northern Lights Casino in Prince Albert has 561 slots and 16 table games.
Living Sky Casino in Swift Current operates 200 slots and nine table games.
Painted Hand Casino in Yorkton has 237 slots and nine table games.
Bear Claw Casino near Carlyle operates 134 slots and six table games.
Dakota Dune near Saskatoon has 587 slots and 54 table games.
Total SIGA revenues matching pre- pandemic levels with $292.6m last year and a net income of $126m.
LOTTERIES - Sask Sport operates Sask Lotteries, which is the provincial marketing organisation for Western Canada Lottery products in Saskatchewan and is the main fundraiser for sport, culture, and recreation in the province.

VLTs - Tere are 4,200 VLTs located in some 570 bars and restaurant lounges in 270 communities in Saskatchewan. Tese are operated by Lotteries and Gaming Saskatchewan (LGS) via the WCLC.
HORSE RACING - Horse Racing took place at Marquis Downs racetrack in Saskatoon until it closed temporarily down during Covid and then finally in 2022. Marquis Downs opened back in 1969 and was the last remaining racetrack operated by Prairieland Park Corporation. Prairieland has plans to expand their commercial recreation facilities on the land and repurpose the site for a football stadium.
Meanwhile Moosomin First Nation has become the first tribal group in Canada to secure a gaming licence to be a track operator for thoroughbred horse racing. Te tribe purchased 900 acres of land in Saskatoon 30 years ago and is planning to open a racetrack here.

Playnow.com is Saskatchewan’s only legal online gaming website and is operated by SIGA and provided by BCLC. It was launched at the end of 2022 and offers more than 500 casino games, live dealer games, and sports betting. Net proceeds are shared between SIGA and Sask Gaming. By March 31 last year there were 15,000 registered users who generated $115.1m in wagers in fiscal year 2022/23.
