Papercrafting passion

These are the projects I made using the beautiful Heartfelt Botanic die and stamp collection. To make the origami box I used the Botanic Orchard decorative papers and stamps. I used the stamps on a piece of card and coloured them in, then used the matching dies from the collection to die-cut them. I decorated the box using the die-cuts – I’m delighted with the result.

Heartfelt gift I made this wooden MDF

heart for my niece when she lost her brother Luke

“My husband Kevin

didn’t craft at all until he bought me a ScanNCut, which I was too scared to remove from the box! Now, he crafts with it all the time and has created these lovely makes – I hope you like them, I’m certainly very proud of him”

Sharon Noble Ode to my fave machine!

Locked away in a crafty haze, Oh, I could play for days and days;

In-built patterns and USBs, and let’s not forget free SVGs.

Now with wifi to stay updated, There’s no reason why we should be separated.

I could live in a ScanNCut show and just let my creative juices flow,

But for now I’ll steal half an hour, so I can make a cardstock flower,

While dreaming of eternity with my ScanNCut machine and me.

Den Hughes CRAFT CLUB MAGAZINE 9 E We love to hear

from our members, so get in touch to let us know what

you’ve been up to and what gadgets and gizmos you can’t live without

unexpectedly. I painted it pink with acrylic, used a stencil to create sun rays, and painted the three little birds to reference Bob Marley’s

famous song, as this was one

of Luke’s favourites. I included an angel for obvious reasons, and a Tom Holtz stamp from Create and Craft, which I cut out using one of your dies. I

put this make on social media to show my friends and now I have a long list of orders!

Prior to creating this, I hadn’t done any stencilling before, so it was a fun new adventure

that I thoroughly enjoyed. I’ve invested in some stencilling

brushes so I don’t need to use a sponge if I make anything

similar – the sponge worked but it was quite messy!
