6 Scrapbooking

Scrapbooking ranges have been getting better every year; the amazing Imagine That, and my favourite Mary Poppins-inspired Practically Perfect are both from Echo Park. American Crafts has also incorporated some great trending craft supplies into its range, including watercolours, doodles and glitter.

Washi tape

Perfect for planners, scrapbooking, card-making and mixed media projects – it's great to see that washi tape is still popular. Altenew has some lovely, delicate floral designs that I can't wait to try out.

This latest trend has been cropping up everywhere recently. No matter what your beliefs are, it’s easy to jump on board with stamps, stickers and accessories from American Crafts and Echo Park.

Colour of the year Ultra Violet is the Pantone colour for 2018, and you can incorporate this bold, deep blue-based purple hue into your home décor by adding a splash of Ultra Violet paint onto your homemade wall art. Alternatively, introduce it into your craft projects with a cosy velvet knitted throw or a striking amethyst necklace.

Deep hues The bold choice for Colour of the Year also brings a whole host of intense, dramatic shades; think rich deep hues, such as midnight green, wine red and burnt orange. Contrast these with bright metallics to add further dimension and a bold statement to your projects.

Sweet pastels Pastel colours are fun and fresh – they're a must-have for your craft cupboard. This season is all about pastel colours that remind you of the mouth-watering scent of an old-fashioned sweet shop, with mint green, candy floss pink, lemon sherbet yellow and blueberry muffin.

Texture & cross-stitch

Adding texture and mixed media to projects is an ever-growing trend now that we have become more experimental with our crafting techniques. There is also a high demand for crafting products with cross-stitch designs, such as the new collection of gorgeous stamps from Altenew which will be released soon.

10 Sewing & storage

Beautiful and stylish sewing machines and storage have become highly sought after. I'd never been so tempted to buy a sewing machine until I saw the We R Memory Keepers new range – they're just so pretty! My favourite storage collection is also from We R Memory Keepers, as they have some fantastic desktop items being released soon; look out for their stylish Bloom Embellishment storage – I can’t wait to get my hands on one!
