with love You will need

l Black top folding note card 5.5in x 7in l Gold cardstock l Vellum l FAB ink l Gold embossing powder l Generation Inx l Stamp, Classic Colour 1

1

Cut a piece of gold cardstock to be slightly smaller than your black cardstock. Add a

decorative edge by using a stitch die and place it through a die cutting machine.

2 3

Matt and layer a piece of black cardstock onto your card.

Using your FAB, ink up the stamp and press the image onto the piece of black

cardstock to create a transparent image. Whilst the image is wet, cover the ink with embossing powder and set with a heat tool.

4 5

Once the image has cooled, paint within the lines using your desired inks. This is

known as a resist technique, which means you don’t need to worry about going over the lines.

Take the sentiment stamp and use your FAB ink to stamp the words directly onto

the vellum. Cover the sentiment with your embossing powder and use a heat tool to set. Cut the vellum to size and adhere in place using clear glue. Matt and layer the card.

simply fantastic You will need

l Black 8in x 8in card blank l White 7.5in x 7.5in card l Decorative embossing folder l Circle die cut l FAB ink l White embossing powder l Generation Inx re-inkers l Stamp, Classic Colour 2 l Palette or Eureka 101

1

Take the white cardstock and place it inside your desired embossing folder,

then place it through your die cutting machine to create an embossed pattern.

2 3

Using your circle dies, place a small circle within a larger circle and feed

them through the die cutting machine to create the coral frame.

Using white cardstock, die cut another circle to sit in the middle of the coral

frame.

4 5

Ink up the stamp and press it onto the white circular piece of cardstock. While

the ink is still wet, add embossing powder and set with a heat gun.

Place a small amount of Generation Inx into a pallet or Eureka 101 and dilute

with water, so you can paint the image. Matt and layer to the black card base.

Toni’s TOP TIPS

l Remember to put colour

around your image to create depth and shadow

l Ensure that you leave a

white space to give a realistic watercolour look

l Let the heat gun get hot before applying it, but don’t

let it overheat or the embossing powder will burn and become dull.
