WINNER
talk CLUB Christine Howard FAVOURITE BOOK
In our previous issue, we asked you to gather your crafting tools and create cards based on your favourite book. We were amazed by all the beautiful makes, from lovely crocheted designs, to complex pop-ups. We’ve decided that our well-deserving winner will receive £100 in their account to spend on our crafty supplies, and the two runners-up will get £50 added to their Create and Craft account. As always, we have found it extremely difficult to choose our finalists, but eventually we managed to narrow it down to three fantastic makes. Let’s take a closer look at our final three...
Christine’s take on Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice shows incredible skill. This delicate and intricate design uses embroidered French knots, appliqué and a die-cut horse and carriage to depict her favourite scene. It’s certainly caught our attention.
Runner-up Christine Godfrey
Christine Godfrey’s beautiful design evokes fond memories of everyone’s favourite classic, Alice in Wonderland. Featuring a queen of hearts, cut outs of Alice and an unforgettable quote among other embellishments, we were thoroughly impressed.
it’s always a pleasure to see your hard work – so please keep sending in all your handmade creations, letters and poems.

We can’t get enough of all the wonderful
Julie Highcock
Julie’s make is based on the book Megan’s Journey, which was written to help children get through the loss of their much-loved pets. Her use of the colour purple, three die-cut dogs and simple adornments really makes this card stand out.
