RECRUITS Penelope Quinn

Siobhan Ferguson

Angela Finch Tracey Collett Shabneez Khan-Muztar

Shabneez Khan-Muztar lives, breathes and dreams crafting. “I’d say that I am most proficient at papercrafting. I craft on a daily basis and spend my weekends teaching others. I am ecstatic to be part of this process – it’s such an awesome opportunity to share my skills and expertise to help others learn. It’s been an absolutely amazing adventure so far!”

“I felt giddy as a kipper when I was contacted about this!”

Sue Hardman discovered papercrafting by accident four years ago. “I’d been crafting all my life, but when I bought a CutNBoss, I fell in love with die-cutting after my first pass – you can get a clean, professional finish every time, and dies are now really pushing the boundaries, giving us endless versatility and creativity.”

“I have had so much fun!”

Carla Bagshaw has had a quilling business for four years. “I love the diversity of quilling, with its limitless opportunities to create beautiful work – it’s also very therapeutic. It’s very humbling to have been asked to be a contributor. Crafting is full of incredible people making brilliant things, so to be chosen to help others feels like a gift.”

“I love the fact that just by changing a technique, you can create something completely different each time. I’m looking forward to seeing what I can make for Create and Craft.” Tracey Collett, passionate papercrafter

Siobhan Ferguson loves papercrafting and created her own vintage-style wedding stationery. “I was flabergasted when Create and Craft contacted me about becoming a contributor. I’m really chuffed – it’s so flattering to think that my crafting is good enough! It’s been a series of new experiences for me: my screen test was terrifying but enjoyable and this photoshoot was such a laugh!”

CRAFT CLUB MAGAZINE 11

Tina Lowther learned to knit at the age of seven, and took up cross-stitch in her 20s. “I want to encourage members to try cross-stitch; it’s a relaxing craft that brings me so much joy. I am so excited to be a part of this fantastic creative channel – crafters are the best people and to be able to introduce viewers to exciting modern cross-stitch is a dream situation!”

Bernadette Wainwright learnt to sew 40 years ago and still loves it. “Everyone can have a go at sewing, either hand or machine, no matter how young or old, novice or experienced. I am delighted that I will be able to inspire other crafters to make something that they can be proud of – to be able to pass on this wonderful skill is very exciting.”

“I can’t wait to share my projects with the crafting community. I’d really love to inspire a new generation of crafters and see more teens involved!” Charlie Mumford, crochet devotee
