I am writing to thank you for making me the runner-up in your card competition, I was delighted to see it in your members’ magazine. I have only ever won one thing in my life and that was a colouring competition. Card-making helps me to relax as my husband is housebound owing to a severe stroke. Therefore, I don’t get out much because I look after him. Thanks Create and Craft for being my lifeline. Jane Stead

Hi Alice,
I was so surprised when I opened my post to find out that I had won the prize draw in September’s magazine of goodies made by Debbie Shore. I’m so grateful! Congratulations to Debbie for creating such wonderful items. I hope that Create and Craft keep up the work of providing great-value products plus entertainment which makes me laugh out loud. Mrs Wendy Gibberson
Up, pierce green shoots Which stand to nature’s attention: A signal of Spring’s future intention. Up, pops a snowdrop And two or three more: Enough for me to sketch and draw. Up, blows a breeze And for a brief moment: A floral family bow in agreement Up I should get as the wind turns to snow. Away pad and pencil and to home I go.
