The WOW! Awards


During 2016, the trust received 2,716 WOW! nominati ons for staff who had made a diff erence to someone by exceeding expectati ons or going the extra mile.


Staff can be nominated for a WOW! Award by colleagues, pati ents or visitors throughout the year, with a handful of winners selected by the Trust’s public governors each month.


Donna Green, Chief Nurse, helped set up the WOW! Awards scheme at our hospitals in 2009.


She says: “WOW! Awards are about celebrati ng everything we do well at Hampshire Hospitals. I am really proud to be Chief Nurse of this Trust. You all do a fantasti c job and are all winners.”
