Care Certi fi cate


The Care Certi fi cate gives pati ents the confi dence that all our healthcare assistants have the same high-quality inducti on, training and consistent approach to providing compassionate, safe, and high-quality care and support.


Last year, 34 healthcare assistants completed the 20-week programme. A further 291 staff are currently undertaking the Care Certi fi cate.


Revalidati on


All nurses and midwives are expected to provide evidence to the NMC of their fi tness to practi ce through a process called Revalidati on. We have support in place so that the nurses and midwives employed by us are competent to provide safe and eff ecti ve care.


Complying with the requirements of revalidati on is the responsibility of each registrant and to support our staff , we have commissioned the use of an electronic revalidati on appraisal tool called Clarity, which enables registrants to provide their revalidati on evidence easily to the NMC.
