San Jose, CA — Integrated Device Technology (IDT) has partnered with Samsung to deliver wireless charging for the Galaxy S7, Samsung's most recent smartphone. IDT's technology includes all of the hardware and soft- ware needed to charge mobile devices without wires. Besides the Galaxy S7, the company has also provided wire- less charging for the Galaxy 6S edge+
Mycronic Offers Industry 4.0 Productivity Solutions
Rowley, MA — Mycronic, a manufac- turer and supplier of production equip- ment, has focused its product lineup to offer a complete smart factory solution. This includes full visibility planning, complete material tracking, efficient changeovers, automated replenish- ment of components, and intelligent storage systems. The company offers a near-production storage system for proactive component replenishment, the Agilis™ tray magazine (ATM). The latest addition to the Agilis
family of smart and user-friendly feed- ers, it handles up to eight JEDEC trays in a compact and mobile unit and sup- ports low-to-medium volume tray han- dling. The ATM has features that include easy off-line preparation of parts, a unique ID chip that prevents mix-ups and an intuitive operator panel for quick replenishment. When combined with the Agilis smart bin system, which enables paperless kit- ting and change over guidance for tape and stick components, the result is a material handling system with a low changeover cost. The new jet dispener, MY600JD,
with its high-performance jet dispens- ing capabilities, has been designed to substantially improve productivity when dispensing a wide variety of flu- ids. The technology is suitable for chip encapsulation, cavity fill, SMA, gas- keting, sealing, edge bonding, and con- ductive adhesives. According to the company, the system achieves micro - meter precision while delivering throughputs 2 to 10 times higher than traditional dispensers, depending on the application. The company plans to release new jet dispensing capabilities later this year. A new SMD tower, now capable
of storing component reels up to 15in (381mm) in diameter, is built to meet the need for automated storage among higher-volume manufactur- ers. Able to handle reels from 4 to 15 in (102 to 381mm), as well as JEDEC trays, the compact system has expanded its capacity to 980 compo- nent reels within a single unit. Due to its built-in intelligence and automation, the tower is an enables efficient material handling and proactive component replenishment, particularly when used with MY200
pick-and-place machines. Contact: Mycronic, Inc., 320

and Galaxy Note5 smartphones, as well as the Samsung Gear S2 smart- watch charging pad. The IDT wireless charging
receiver used in the Galaxy S7 sup- ports Samsung's fast charge mode, which enables users to charge up to 1.4 times faster than standard mode, which reduces full charge time by about 50 minutes. The receiver is also compatible with Qi standard wireless charging pads. The chip's integrated design offers efficiency, and its flexible core architecture opti- mizes its performance. In addition to providing wire-
less power technology to Samsung and other companies like it, IDT has introduced wireless power kits that

enable electronics companies of any size to easily integrate wireless charging capabilities into their prod-
uct designs. IDT has experience in both mag-
netic induction and magnetic reso- nance technologies and participates actively in the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) and AirFuel Alliance as a board member. IDT has introduced a number of technologies including the first single-chip trans- mitter, a high-output single chip receiver, and the first dual-mode receiver IC compatible with both
WPC and AirFuel Alliance standards. Contact: IDT, 6024 Silver Creek
