Technica Now Exclusive
U.S. Distributor of SIPLACE San Jose, CA —Technica USA has been appointed by ASM as the exclusive U.S. distributor for the new E by SIPLACE placement equipment. The E was intro- duced this year at APEX, in Las Vegas. The equipment offers customers world- class performance for mid-speed and high-mix applications. According to Jeff Timms, head of the SMT segment of ASM in the Americas, the company has ag- gressively expanded its SMT product portfolio in the high-end and high-per- formance areas, but needed to add resources and infrastructure to be able to enter, develop, and support the mid-speed and high-mix market segment. With the existing organization managing the growth of the high-end portfolio, the most prudent way to launch this product family, while keeping cost in line for
customers, was to establish a separate distribution arm for E by SIPLACE. Contact: Technica USA, 2431 Zanker Road, San Jose, CA 95131 % 408-
