OnFILTER Develops EMI Filter for Soldering Irons


Santa Cruz, CA — OnFILTER, a manufacturer of EMI management products, has developed an EMI fil- ter for soldering irons that protects sensitive components from electrical overstress (EOS). The filter has been de- signed to provide noise-free AC power and ground to soldering irons and rework stations. OnFILTER has devel-


oped its EMI filters to greatly reduce EOS during the soldering process by preventing EMI on power lines and ground from reaching the soldering iron. The filters further provide EMI-free ground connec- tion to the workbench. The company’s solder-
