Billed as the first fully integrated multitrack digital recorder and mixer, 4MinX is capable of mixing and recording 5.1 or 7.1 – both in the studio and in the field. 4MinX functions as a TV/film sync-sound location recorder, or it can be reconfigured to record music or mix up to four channels in high audio quality. It is possible to work on location for more than six hours before the unit’s standard batteries need recharging.
