Epic sports news OTT Tvinci
By Heather McLean
Tvinci recently announced that its platform has been selected by EpicTV, an extreme sports service backed by Finnish operator Elisa and powered by the OTT native Tvinci system, offering a pan-European service across multiple connected devices. With this deployment, Elisa is hoping to target its niche content towards a potential audience of 200 million adventure sports enthusiasts across 15 countries worldwide.
Building on the features of previous antenna systems, the MAS-100MA is now equipped with reflector automatic disclosure and positioning and navigating on satellite. It is fully automatic, meaning no
special qualification is required to set up the system and set-up time is up to three minutes. It weighs no more than 45 kilos, packed in its case with tripod and accessories and its folded up antenna can be
transported in a comfortable backpack or in any vehicle. Finally it offers high resistance to temperature changes, ranging from -50° C to +50°C and to wind loads of up to 25 m/sec. 9.C28

The moment you choose the camera you want, not the one your lens requires. This is the moment we work for.
TV goes Epic with Tvinci and EpicTV from Elisa
The IBC launch of EpicTV serves to prove that in the evolving OTT TV landscape, operators are now realising the power of OTT and are thinking clearly and strategically about who they are delivering to and how these people are consuming content, Tvinci claimed.
The EpicTV service is
delivered via Tvinci’s Pay-OTT TV platform, and the show sees new additions for it including SDKs for multiple mobile applications, device management tools to effectively manage the
applications, as well as multi-DRM support in order to protect the content. 3:C46
