Social TV Prompter

never.no By Carolyn Giardina

Prompter, the latest addition to never.no’s social TV product line and aimed at taking social media directly to on-air talent, is making its IBC debut this week. Prompter is an app designed to give presenters, anchors, hosts, or anyone else who works on-camera the ability to use social media and interactive content on the job. An option to never.no’s Interactivity Suite, it enables on-air talent to view realtime social media comments from viewers and fans and incorporate their input into programmes. Incoming comments are pushed directly into Prompter on a presenter’s iPad. Because Prompter is powered by IS, feeds and comments are filtered (automatically or manually) so that appropriate content makes it to the presenter. Also at IBC, never.no is showing its ‘Synchronised Companion app Framework,’ a key IS component that can push/pull information or media relevant to realtime TV broadcasts to and from a second screen. 7.A06
