Preparing for Top Management

Essential leadership development and support to help prepare for a role in the Senior Civil Service

For those just below Senior Civil Service (SCS) level (Grades 6 and 7 or equivalent) with the potential and drive to progress to SCS director level and beyond. This one-year programme provides a grounding in the SCS and its expectations and covers a range of leadership skills and issues. Themes explored include personal impact and effectiveness, delivery, strategic thinking, leading change and networks.

This programme is made up of four modules and a pre-programme seminar.
