Tango Wave Introduces Outdoor Power Amplifier
Sunnyvale, CA — Tango Wave has introduced an ultra-compact, 400W peak, Ku-band, traveling wave tube (TWT), outdoor power ampli- fier with an optional internal L- band block upconverter (BUC). The PA17-Ku400P delivers
180W of linear power over the 12.75-14.5 GHz band, in a small size with low power consumption. The optional L-band BUC can be included internally and does not add to the size of the amplifier. The carbon footprint of the
amplifier is driven by the high-effi- ciency power conversion of the traveling wave tube. The amplifier measures 17 x 8.5 x 8.5 in. (43.2 x 21.6 x 21.6 cm) and weighs 32 lb (14.5 kg). The amplifier is equip ped
with internal redundancy control, eliminating the need for an external controller. Tango Wave amplifier products
cover Ku, DBS and Ka-band frequen- cies with power levels up to 750W —
RoHS
including options for redundancy, power combining and BUCs.

Leader Tech Introduces Tech Clip Kits
Tampa, FL — Leader Tech has intro- duced a do-it-yourself tech clip kit that contains everything a design engineer needs to assemble a high-performance PCB shield pro- totype, without special tools or extensive previous experience. The company developed the
solution to streamline the devel- opment and EMI test stages of PCB shield prototyping projects. Engineers can cut and form a one- piece board-level shield to exact specifications saving time and money. All kits include 20 tech clips in
standard tape-and-reel packaging for high-speed automated placement as well as two 60 x 80 x 0.25 mm (2.36 x 3.15 x 0.001 in.) tech clip covers. Full production quantities of tech clip cov-
ers can be made available in as little as two weeks.

Vincotech Intros Compact Intelligent Power Module
Unterhaching, Germany — Vincotech has introduced a new, deeply-inte- grated intelligent power module (IPM) for 600V applications. The flowIPM 1B CIP 600V combines the speed of an F5 IGBT with the switching performance of a MOS- FET and a silicon carbide boost diode in the PFC circuit, and is optimized for frequencies up to 150 kHz. The high-speed F5 IGBT,
paired with the silicon carbide boost diode, delivers impressive performance and drives town the cost of external components. The new CIP (converter + inverter + power factor correction) has a cur- rent rating of 10A at 80°C (176°F). The IPM module has been
developed to allow manufacturers to slash overall system size, cost and time to market. It also contains an inverter gate drive with a bootstrap circuit for high side power supply, as well as 30 mW emitter shunts for
improved motion control. The mod- ules come in 17 mm (0.67 in.) hous- ings, with versions in 12 mm (0.47
