Electronic Assembly Introduces Intelligent Display Module

Gilching, Germany — Electronic Assembly has introduced its uniTFT family of intelligent display modules. The displays make it easy to combine, modify and adapt graphical objects to particular needs. All objects on the screen can be positioned, rotated and zoomed in on as required, and their colors and transparency can be adjusted. The style sheets feature allows the look of elements to be standardized and saved as a template, creating elegant and user-friendly designs. Tones can also be incorporated for a range of functions from acoustic feedback for operating procedures to entire jingles. The module allows designers to create fonts

to suit their needs, and with Unicode the control unit is prepared for worldwide fonts and marketing. A specially-designed PC graphic tool, uniSKETCH, en - ables users to create screen layouts and interfaces and to edit the proper- ties of objects. Touchscreen models are available that use resistive or PCAP technology. With the PCAP touch, multi-touch inputs familiar with users of smartphones and tablets can be used.

Raltron Releases Ultra-High Frequency TCXO

Miami, FL — Raltron has released its latest temperature compensated crys- tal oscillator (TCXO), designed to pro- duce ultra-high frequency output in an extremely small surface-mount case. With its low jitter and broad range of frequency, the TX832-D3 is aimed at applications in networking, including 10/40/100 GigE, fiber channel 10G/12G Serdes and optical networks.

The display modules can be connected to

external devices, actuators and sensors, and are able to access interfaces including SPI, RS-232, I2C bus, and USB. Several analog inputs, one PWM output and 16 digital I/O lines allow the modules to be integrated into all types of control applica- tions. The video input also provides for the direct

playback of video signals. Contact: Electronic Assembly GmbH,

TCXO for network applications. The series generates a high fre-

quency range of 60 to 650 MHz with a supply voltage of 2.5 or 3.3V at a frequency stability of 2.5 ppm. The oscillators have an operating temper- ature range of –40 to +85°C (–40 to +185°F) and a maximum rms jitter of 650 fs in a bandwidth of 12 kHz to 20 MHz. Typical frequencies include 78.125, 156.25, and 312.5 MHz. Units are supplied in a 3.0 x 2.5 mm (0.12 x 0.098 in.) surface-mount for-

mat and are RoHS-compliant. Contact: Raltron Electronics,
