and spirits high. We faced The Blandford School (hosts) in the last game of the day, which delivered our best result. The girls had continued to learn throughout the day, went onto court with a smile and cheered each other on throughout. We left the tournament in good spirits, a little more resilient and knowing what we need to work on for next year. To top it off we also had a shout out on a national radio show on the way home to cement our smiles from a good afternoon of sport.

Bradley Hill


During term 2 in late December, Years 7-10 competed in the first inter-tutor netball and football competition for over 6 years. Students competed well throughout the morning, playing each of the other tutor groups in their year. Both the standard of the football and netball was very high throughout the morning with many games having one goal difference in the overall result. The top two teams had the opportunity to play again representing their tutor group in the final during the afternoon. This occasion was made extra special with many classes coming out to support the teams. With the standard being so high the decision who should win player of the tournament in each group was made even more difficult. The result of the inter tutor competition can be found below. Two more competitions are planned for term 5 and 6 with handball and rounders in term 5 and athletics in term 6.


ADVANCE NOTICE


We will be looking at updating our PE uniform for September 2017. This will only become compulsory for students joining the school from September 2017 and optional for our other students. Further information will follow.
