Community Support Team (CST) The professionally qualified Community Support Team comprises of a Garrison Community Development Officer, 4 Community Development Workers (CDW) and their teams of Assistant Youth and Community Workers and volunteers.
The CST provides Youth Work, Community Work and Play Work in Paderborn, Sennelager, Detmold and Hameln. The work is delivered through Youth Clubs, Holiday Activities, Summer Play Schemes and registration of, and support to, voluntary groups. The CST provides training in Child Protection, NVQ and skills training for those who work with children and young people, and Parenting Courses. The team offers individual support to young people and informal learning opportunities leading to recognised Awards. The provision is inspected by OFSTED. All staff and volunteers have CRB clearance.

Paderborn Awards AWS Paderborn offer a variety of UK accredited award schemes. These are not just for school children, but open to anyone in the Garrison under the age of 23.

41 AEC runs all levels of the Command Leadership and Management (CLM) promotion courses. We also provide support and guidance in preparation for these CLM courses. For more information contact your unit RCMO or a Learning Development Officer (LDO) at 41 AEC.
