Attic Amateur Theatre Company The Attic Theatre Company meets on a Wednesday evening in the Cinema in Barker Barracks, although this is dependent on the production they are working on. Mohnesee Sail Training Centre Within one hour’s drive from Paderborn Garrison, the Mohnesee Sail Training Centre provides beautiful surroundings for this increasingly popular sport. Serving members of the Forces who are on the posted strength of a unit within Paderborn Garrison are automatically members of the club as are their dependants. Other BFG entitled persons (UKBC) may also apply for membership. Club boats, windsurf boards, canoes and bicycles are available to hire at reasonable prices. Courses of instruction are also available.
Paderborn Equestrian Centre Fondly known as the ‘PEC’, Paderborn Equestrian Centre, based in Sennelager is regarded as one of the Garrison’s most popular amenities. With a variety of adult mounts and smaller horses and ponies, qualified instruction is provided by two serving soldiers with the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment (HCMR). In addition to being a riding school for the UK military community in Germany, PEC is also a livery yard, available to entitled personnel and also to the wider German civilian community.
