Kilmacolm Dramatic Society


Following our successful spring production in April KDS is currently selecting the next play which will be staged at the Kidston Hall in Kilmacolm during the last Thursday, Friday and Saturday in November…… look out for more details in the October edition of The Advertizer.


Rehearsals are scheduled to commence at the beginning of September and we welcome as always any new members who would like to join us either on stage or behind the scenes!

KNCC Cafe - “The Hub”


The new café in the Kilmacolm New Community Centre is aptly named “The Hub”. This provides a great focal point for the building and has proved very popular since opening at the beginning of August.


Introducing a new concept cafe experience,


“The Hub” offers home-cooked daily dishes, brunches, lunches, afternoon teas, kids menu, low calorie specials and a fantastic variety of home baking; all served with Union Roast Coffees and Teas.


The Hub uses Fairtrade products throughout and is open: Mon-Fri: 8.30am - 5.30pm, Sat: 9am - 3pm (closed on Sundays).

Table Tennis Club

Kilmacolm Home Show


Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th September, 10am to 5pm both days at Kilmacolm Community Centre.


A weekend packed with creative ideas to transform your home, with experts at hand to help you achieve success in your interior projects. Contemporary fi ne art gallery and framers, ceramics and glassware, jewellery and gifts. Stain Glass Restoration, Cabinet Makers, Upholsterers, Artist Blacksmithing. Home Entertainment, Home Theatre and Multi-Room Systems. Home Improvement Specialists, Architects and Builders. Local school children’s art, sculpture and crafts will be on display with a competition and prizes. Silent Auction with many items and services at the show, in aid of MS Society.
