MDG | THE ONE
www.mdgfog.com
For the first time, this completely self-contained package - consumables included - offers sophisticated control over atmospheric effects from a single source. Its simple and efficient multilevel user interface, accessible from the menu on the rear LCD panel, allows for a gradual switch between either mode seamlessly using various networking protocols, DMX or local control. Each parameter is set into specific presets, but can be accessed and redefined by advanced users. The networking capability of the MDG theONE allows the user to install the generator as part of an existing ACN network. It is also an RDM compatible device. Automatically refilling from an external 20 litres fluid container, and with the two interconnected 9kg CO² or N2 gas bottles, theONE was especially designed to give a maximum of consecu- tive, non-stop hours of fog / haze without service (over 300 hours in Haze mode). With the generator and its accessories sitting in separate cradles in the universal rolling rack (for easier storage and transportation), the sturdy aluminum rack provides several rigging options for maximum freedom, making the MDG theONE especially fit for ready-to-go worldwide touring conditions.

www.steinigke.de
The NX-200 is a new smoke machine from Steinigke’s Eurolite. It has a power of 2000W and an output volume of approximately 850 cubed metres per minute. Large stages and dancefloors can easily be covered with smoke in a short space of time. To control the smoke machine the operator can either use DMX or the remote control. The machine comes with the three vital setting options, all of which are adjustable. The settings are time interval, duration and the intensity level. Due to its high-class workmanship the NX-200 also optically conveys its pro- fessional demand. Amenities like the simple refilling of the two liter tank and the illuminated fluid control ensures the machine is user-friendly.
THE EFFECTS COMPANY | CO² JET SYSTEM
www.effectsco.com
The CO² Jet System from The Effects Company is a multi-head system that produces spectacularly powerful white jets of CO² gas that can be moved in two axis (just like a moving light head), but the CO² does not build up in the atmosphere as it would with smoke machines. It uses easily obtainable CO² cylinders and users can program it via a standard DMX console. The CO² Jet System consists of the main mov- ing head, which is positioned as required (it can even hang upside down from trussing), and a Datalink Module that takes a DMX feed and outputs control for up to four heads. The system is infinitely extendable, each set of four heads requires a Datalink Module, and the only other requirement is connection to a high pressure CO² cylinder. All accessories and high-pressure hoses are available from The Effects Company. Safety is also taken care of, with the (optional) CO² Sensor, which measures CO² levels in the atmosphere and indicates CO² levels on a rising bar graph. When the top level is reached, the system will be disabled until safe levels are obtained again. For thick low lying fog the Effects Company also produce the low-maintenance Cirrus Low Smoke, ideal for nightclubs and theme parks.
